The operating system used in North Korea is now upgraded which resemblance with the Apple’s Mac OSX platform. The Red Star OS is the home-grown country’s software which is installed in the libraries and school’s computers. The OS previously seems as if mimicked from Microsoft’s Windows system.

North Korea has always been in their own world- they shut themselves from outside world. The country also lack the technology access which also includes mobile phones.. Devices are also restricted. Internet access is also locked down. Users can only view few sites which are mostly served by state-sponsored news. The Red Star OS earlier version was available to the world in the year 2010 after it was posted online by a Russian student.
