The great festival of Tamang community ‘Sonam Lhosar’ has finally arrived. Different kinds of programs have been organized and the greetings were exchanged all over the nation today. This is the 2848th years of the festival according to the Tibetian lunar calendar which is celebrated on the first day of new moon. This year marks the end of the Snake year and welcomed the Horse Year.

700 ostriches insured in first such contract

Ostrich has been insured at ostrich Nepal by Lumibini General Insurance for many Rs.280 million. This is most probably the first time that birds expect from poultry has been protected. Ostrich Nepal along with the Lumbini General Insurance has signed a contract to protect almost 700 ostriches in farm. The first stage of the company has achieved 700 ostriches at the cost of Rs. 400,000 each.

HSEB has now published the results of Grade XI

After waiting so long the results are finally over. Yes you hear correct. The Office of Controller of Examination under HSEB has now published the results of Grade XI. The exam was conducted in May 2013. As per the HSEB source in regular category only 40 % (1, 04,969) of student passed in the exam and under the exempted category about 30% (1,54,608) passed.
