A true hero of modern generation, first black president of South Africa and anti-racism icon and an inspiring person Nelson Mandela is no more with us. Nelson Mandela, 95 died in Johannesburg. His efforts in leading South Africa and tearing the racism issue and white rule in 1990s what made South African’s free.
He spends 3 months in hospital for his lung infection and after that he was receiving the medical care at his home. President Jacob Zuma announced the death of Nelson Mandela on national TV news of South Africa. President said that the greatest son of our country was lost and they all had knew sooner or later this day would have come but the deep grief and sorrow of his death cannot be diminished by anything.
Crowds gathered where Nelson Mandela died. Many people were flying the flags of South Africa while some wore the African National Congress shirts which was led by Mr. Mandela once. After official retire in 2004 he was rarely seen in public. His last public appearance was in South Africa at Football World Cup in 2010.
