With all ups and downs in her life, Katy Perry is back again in the no. 1 position. With her new song ‘Roar’ she got the top of the Official Singles Chart and got her 4th UK no. 1.
The news is not limited here she also got her major success in her career in the ‘first week sale’ in UK.
The sales data of Official Charts Company views that Katy Perry’s single, Roar has fallen like a bomb in the market with the sales of 179,500 copies within a week, beating all her previous best record 123,600 sales with California Gurls feat Snoop Dogg in 2010.
Jameela Jamil host of Radio one’s Official Chart first spread the news to Perry about this.
Perry with all her excited said in an interview she love UK and UK is the place where many trends of music starts. She also added that it is the place where she finds coolest music and influenced her.
This week has been incredibly exciting and in favour of Perry. Her upcoming album Prism is releasing in 22nd October but the song ‘Roar’ from the same album has become hit already. Everyone’s excited about her new album. Previous album of Perry Teenage Dream has made a new record of female solo artist in Top 10 singles from one album. Perry is attending a very special show on 30th September at London’s Roundhouse in iTunes Festival his year.
